Technical Difficulties

Jul 07

I am experiencing technical difficulties.

I had a great weekend.  (Yay!)

But my computer didn’t.  (Boo!)

I’m getting a new one.  (Yay!)

But it hasn’t arrived yet.  (Boo!)

I hope to be back in business soon – reading and writing and commenting as usual.

In the meantime, be well and happy blogging!

Dude, seriously boo. Are you one of those people that feels unmoored when forcibly disconnected from the computer? Or, do you relish the freedom?

Ugh, my internet was down yesterday morning for a bit and even though I was busy, it still weighed on me and made me a bit cranky. I hope you are more patient than I was.

Our husbands, Justine’s and mine, are dying to know … Will it be a Mac or a PC?? =>

‘Tis a PC. I know that will make Justine’s “My Guy” happy. Does that mean it will make your husband sad? (I hope not!)

That happened to me around Christmas time, just after a HUGE fundraiser for my youngest son’s preschool that I was in charge of. I thanked my lucky stars it didn’t happen in the midst of that…

Happy day when your new portal to the world arrives, we miss you!

Yeah for a new computer! Sorry you’ve had technical difficulties, though. Enjoy the forced unpluggedness (a word? is now).

Boy can I empathize with this one after the major meltdown of all the computers in May! (At present, it’s a temperature/AC meltdown I’m experiencing.)

Technical difficulties do remind us what’s important! (Glad you’ll soon be back. Hoping it’s quick!)

Wishing you the best of luck on your new machine and hoping it doesn’t take you too long to get back up and running.

I use that excuse when I just don’t feel like blogging. ;)

I thought you were a little off schedule, Kristen (and I know how organized you are!) I was just thinking about how connected I am, alternating my email responses to a neighbor with every source of Internet connection I have while thinking this is really too much already…

Good luck! I have some numbers for HP and Mac tech support if you need it.

I always try to remember to tip my hat to the trickster when seemingly bad luck happens, as luck is hanging about and that’s full of life spirit.

You managed to get enough message out to connect in the context of humanity that always comes up against all sorts of limits—and you still tried, and succeeded, to connect.

Bravo and Good Luck.

I’m actually totally relieved you’re having difficulties because I’ve been feeling AWFUL that I haven’t been by in TOO long and now… I feel like I can catch up! I hope you’re back working soon! xo

Uh oh! What happened to your computer?
Really, did you break the old one so you could get a new one? I won’t judge ;)

GET A MAC! GET A MAC! (Apple almost rightly is taking over the world.)

Do you feel a little strange not being so connected? I hope you blog about it… and I am with Jana – get a MAC if you can!

Computer woes. Boo!
New computer? Yay!

I read this earlier and was all YAY because I’m right there with you. New computers are super duper and I think I’ve finally realized it’s time for one, too!

I had computer issues all last week and finally got my mini laptop back. It’s all I have for now but it will work! Hope all is well on your end!

Had to tell you that your comment at momalon was as beautiful as her post, re: the word “aplomb.”

Oh dear, my condolences to you and the machine that has gone kaput. But oo, a new toy for you … excited to make its acquaintance in the near future :). You’ll give us a review, won’t you?

At least you have excuse. I am struggling with summer blog syndrome which prevents the sufferer from being able to keep up her end of the blogging deal.

Hope you’re back soon!

I’m sorry to report that my technical difficulties have turned into “summer blog syndrome.” I love that term – and I so totally get what you mean by it!

Good for you! I’ve been taking it easy with blogging this summer too. It is nice to enjoy my family and other stuff for a change. And when I get back to it, I appreciate it that much more. Hope you enjoy your break!
